Displayed at Stella McCartney store in Palo Alto, the consoles and sofa are designed to integrate handmade, organic elements with bold, striking structure. Composed from a combination of materials, the angular furniture consists of a hand-dyed cement exterior and a rock salt interior. Packed by hand within the smooth box of white cement, the jagged minerals form a rough, contrasting texture. The pieces sit atop custom hand-cast cement floor tiles that span the entire store.
